Beginning the day with a survey...and then it's time to get busy!

Good morning :)

I just woke up and sat outside for awhile reading Diane's thesis, enjoying the weather, and talking to my amazing boyfriend on the phone. What a way to start the day--I am happy, happy, happy. Alright though, today it's time to get down to business. I need to:

-make the final edits to the materials for Butler's sexual assault prevention campaign

-start the Lilly Scholars Network website

- create my resume

-start putting together my portfolio

-start on my website, and my dad's :)

-look for jobs I'd like to apply for

-draw and take pics of the double-headed if you know me, you know what :) and send those in for review

- annnnddd maybe just for fun start putting together the souvenir frame I got for Paris or London

Before I get going this morning I randomly feel like filling out a survey.. so:

Part 1- ME

Were you a planned baby?

My parents wanted me for a long time, I just took awhile to get here :) ( I called and asked them this morning.. good to know)

Were you the first?

Yep! I am the oldest.

Who was present at your birth?

Just the two that brought me into this world.. and some medical staff :) BUT the rest of the family came later

Were your parents married when you were born?

They sure were.. and very happily I believe!


PART 2- THE FAMILY


Parents married or divorced?

Married.. I don't know what I'd do without them both! I want to be like them.

An only child?

Nope... I have siblings and love them to death.


If you have siblings are you oldest, middle, or youngest?
Oldest... I get to lead....

Which parent do you get along with best?
That's a tough one. I really get along with both. If I can't say both, then I'd say more my dad now and my mom growing up... for different reasons.

Do you have step-parents?
Nope.

PART 3- THE FRIENDS

Do you have more than one best friend?
Yes, many. But my true bet friends are my mom and my siblings, and they're always always there for me.
Others include the my cousins, Jr. High Seven, Ashley, Al, Nicole, some of the families I babysit for.

Don't worry guys, I don't ever forget you: Family.. and extended family, Ethan, Troj, Brian, & John.


What do you like to do when you are together?
Anything and everything. That's why we get along.. we can enjoy absolutely anything together

Do you share the same interest?
I share different interests with all of them.

Which friends can you tell everything to?
I trust all of them.


PART 4- YOUR PERSONALITY

Do you have low self esteem?
Not usually, but like everyone I certainly have my days.

Do you get depressed about things easily?
No, self pep talks prevent that. haha :) kidding.. or am I?

Do you consider yourself an extrovert or an introvert?

extrovert with some hidden introvertedness

Are you happy?

Yep yep! As happy as happy can be :0) life has taught me to find joy in the little things. i am also very fortunate to know so many amazing people and they add endless amounts of joy to my days

Do you live life to the fullest?

That's the goal I work towards every day. I believe so...it feels like it, but if not yet, I'm always working towards it.

PART 5- APPEARANCE

Are you comfortable with the way you look?

Most of the time. I've gone through times when I definitely wasn't..at all, but I've realized that my outer appearance is such a small part of who I am. Of course I'd love to be drop dead gorgeous and have a rock solid body, but I've learned to love what I've got and try to do the best I can with it. I'm a work in progress :)

Describe your hair?

Dirty blonde--medium length. I like the variety of colors in it.. and that it makes me so similar to my sisters.

How do you dress?

Ha! Good question. I'm a little random, but love bargain shopping! Ask my sister... she knows that I rarely shop, but when I do--it's not at the mall. My wardrobe could use a refresher.. and is getting one..slowly, but surely.

Were you a strange child?
I still am :)

What is your ambition?

I'm driven by a desire to make a difference and share the joys of life with others. I fully realize that without the people around me, I would not be the person I am and I want to give back to those who have given to me.. and to others. In life, I hope to enjoy a career I am passionate about, exercise creativity and continue learning, stay driven, work hard, play hard, spread love, have an impact, make change in the community, see the world, open my mind, and raise a family that my future husband (cross your fingers) and I can be proud of, teach, and share life with!


Are you scared of growing old alone?

At times, I'll admit...yes. But we come in and out of this world alone.. so I am more at peace with it. I want to share my life with someone though, and if I get married I'll give it my all.

Do you want to get married?

I've always always wanted a family because mine is so important to me, and the families I babysit have made a huge impact on me. I used to think I wouldn't get married for some reason, but now I can't imagine not. I want to stand by someone and share in their joys as they share in mine. I also want to raise a beautiful family with the one I love by my side. I am excited for the day my future husband and I can tuck the little ones in, laugh at the day's events, and fall asleep in each other's arms.

PART 8- THE OUTDOORS

Do you prefer indoors or outdoors?

Outdoors-- God's creation... and I can't get enough.

Season?

I want all four... Indiana spoils me. I am partial to the in-between's though--I admittedly have a soft spot for fall & spring!

Do you like walking in the rain?

Absolutely... I love it.

PART 9- FOOD

Are you a vegetarian?
How'd you know? :) Well, yes, but I don't know if it counts because every once in awhile my boyfriend gets me to try meat.

What is your favorite food?
That's tough. I love salad. and fruit. I also really love jello. I find myself liking the foods I can feel good about eating more and more. Nachos, spinach and artichoke dip, green bean casserole, Troj's potatoes, homemade pizza, veggie pizza, grandma's noodles, ice cream, and Starburst jelly beans are right up there though.

What food makes you want to gag?
Deep-fried anything makes my stomach churn.

What is your favorite dessert?
Something light, but tasty. Have I told you how much I love rainbow sherbet?

Favorite restaurant(s)?
Olive Garden, Chili's, Hacienda, Don Pablos & Outback ( I worked there.. I'm partial).. and more :)

PART 10- RELATIONSHIPS AND LOVE

Are you single or taken?

Happily taken.

If taken who is the lucky guy/girl?

Ethan Grant Schreiber... and I'm the lucky one.

Do you think love is the best feeling in the world?

It's amazing and yet completely impossible to explain.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

I believe in attraction at first sight or knowing that you and that person are going to have something, but I think love grows as you get to know a person.
