Thursday's Phantom

It's just after midnight and I am debating whether I should go to bed or stay up and do some things before I call it a night.  I may just call it a night and get up early before babysitting tomorrow.  Today was really nice.  I went downtown this morning to watch Tony, Ken, and Traci do a photo/video shoot with a band called Finer. The band was really cool and I kind of stepped into the role of photo assistant so I was able to talk with them quite a bit.   I am going to see them play tomorrow and can't wait!   The lead singer, Stacy, is very pretty and has a really great voice.  I'm sure they'll be great.   I think the funniest part of the morning was when Traci sent me to Quizno's to borrow a bucket for the drummer to use.  I went in and asked and pulled it off-- they let me borrow the bucket.  I love nice people. It was funny too because I must've looked happy.  There was a guy sitting by the fountain and he said hi as I was running past.  I said hello and asked if he was having a good day.  He said yes and then told me I looked beautiful.  It was sweet. Even when I returned the bucket I semi-sort-of got hit on.  I took the bucket in and thanked the woman who let me borrow it.  The man in line kept looking at me.  The lady goes:  I think he thanks you for coming in to thank me.  It was hilarious!  Crazy people.  I was having a bad hair day.  They made it better though.  After watching the video shoot I went to Kroger to pick up some yogurt for lunch, and well, it reminded me of someone special :).  Ethan is up north for football camp today and tomorrow and I miss him already.  But I get to spend the weekend with him.. so that is just.. awesome!  I can't wait! :)  Anyways.. I went to Kroger and bought grapes and yogurt and then went to my meeting at Butler.  The campaign is finally finished. I send in the final files tomorrow.  I'm anxious to see the real pieces and hope I get a coaster!  After my meeting I went to exchange my alumni shirt at the bookstore on campus for a smaller size and ended up running into Lisa Markus and Professor Bigelow.  I love Butler. SO much.   It was just nice to see familiar faces.  I chatted a bit and then headed to Starbucks on Illinois.  I went in while talking to Di on the phone and set up shop to do my campaign edits.  I realized this Starbucks didn't have any free wireless networks close so I packed my things back up.  I wanted to support them since I went in and bought a Naked juice.  It was great, except I forgot to shake it so the end was a little powdery.  I don't like that grittiness in my drinks, but it had a lot of protein in it so I finished it all.  I went back to BU and went in the Apartment Village Dawghouse.  I was hoping to sit outside, but couldn't find an outlet so I went in and sat by the windows.  I printed off directions for the weekend and Ethan's football schedule and started on my edits.  Time kind of flew and before I knew it I was on my way to grab my suit and things for Ashley's.  I met her at her apartment at 5:30 and we hung out at the pool together.  We met an interesting kid from Orlando and talked about pretty much everything.  After the pool we went to dinner at Chili's and had a hilarious time with the waiter as Ashley pointed out her Cedar Smoked Tilapia was good, but there was too much wood.  I haven't laughed that hard at dinner in a long time. So funny!  Ashley is always a blast.  After dinner we went to her place and watched Phantom of the Opera.  We both didn't know if the man at the end was the phantom or Raul, so we researched afterwards and discovered it was Raul.  It was neat to see the movie after seeing the actual show in London and visiting the Opera House in Paris.  I miss Europe so much.  I try not to talk about it too much with people because I know it must be hard to understand.  However, my experience there was too great for words and I dream about it often.  I can't wait to go back someday.

Alright-- I'm exhausted so it's time to sleep to prep for an early morning and awesome day ahead.  Love to all of you and you'll be in my prayers :)

Sweet Dreams!
